Founded in 2012, in South Bend, Indiana, The Lark Comedy Institute is the only organization focused solely on bringing improv comedy education and experience to the South Bend, Chicago & New York areas. The Institute is staffed by a team of improv enthusiasts and headed by renowned improv artist Kelli McBride, formerly from Second City Chicago, Improv Olympic, and Annoyance Theater.
 

We are an all-inclusive organization and have worked with many students of all ages over the years, including the neuro diverse. We are offering enrichment classes for everyone from the nervous beginner to the seasoned professional. Our program consists of various class offerings and workshops. The Lark Comedy Institute is excited to have partnered with a number of corporations, universities, establishments, and not-for-profits over the years. 

Kelli holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Western Michigan University and has over 20 years of Improv performance and teaching experience​.
